The most powerful way to send a signing request is using the Signing Request Admin. While you can use a static signing link, Credit Workbench recommends that you create a company in the system and send a request.
To do that, go to the left side of the screen and choose “Companies.” As we are sending a request to a brand new company, we will go to “Add Company” at the top.
If we were sending requests to an existing company, we would choose it from the list, but instead, we’ll choose “Add New.”
From here, we can enter any information we currently have, such as address, phone number, and country, or we can simply click “Save Company.”
Next, we need to choose who will receive this signing request. So, we’ll click our dropdown and choose “Add New.”
Then we click “Save.” Next, we have to choose which of our forms we would like to send. We’re going to send the new customer credit application and include a welcome message.
If we want to pre-fill any of the form fields on the application, we can do that here, but note that the customer can still correct any data you enter.
Once we’re comfortable with all the information we’ve entered, we’ll click “Send,” and that request has been transmitted.
If we need to send a second request right away, perhaps a second form or an immediate follow-up, while we are on this company application, in the Company folder, we can just click “New Request,” choose the same signer that we already sent to, pick a different form, and then the application is ready to send.
We now, for our company, have two requests that are marked as “Email Sent,” and we’ll know as soon as they are submitted.
